Most Preposterous Creative: "Without Chemicals, Life Itself Would Be
Impossible."
I don’t remember which chemical
company ran this. It’s probably on the internet someplace, but it doesn’t
matter. The salient point is that a chemical company decided to take credit
for all life on Earth. You have to give it to them. It’s a big, bold claim.
Other companies could use the same strategy.
For instance, Poland Springs could run the campaign, “Without water, all
humans would be a bag of lifeless dust.”
An air filter company could say, “Without air, your lungs would be useless.”
Or how about this for a vacation beach resort: “Without beaches, the ocean
wouldn’t know where to end and salt water would cover the Earth.”
Finally, here’s one for the quantum physicists at the Fermi National
Accelerator Laboratory: “Without subatomic particles, the universe itself
would not exist.”
Now that’s a big advertising claim. |
